Memfys Hospital launched its radiology unit in 2002 and has since become recognised as a leading centre for radiology and medical imaging in Nigeria, providing one of the most advanced and reliable Computerised Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services in the region. All radiological investigations are supervised by fully qualified Radiologists who interpret them and provide well informed reports.
The hospital also provides routine X-Ray and Ultra Sound services.
The advantage of having a fully functioning radiology unit equipped with advanced machines and adequately staffed by Radiographers and Radiologists means that there is minimal delay in carrying out investigations, diagnosing and treating patients at the hospital premises without the need to go elsewhere for these services. This ensures that critically and acutely ill patients presenting at the hospital have the best chance of survival and successful recovery.

Memfys has two MRI machines in operation, namely the General Electric Signa Explorer 16 Channel 1.5 Tesla MRI system and the Basda BTI 0.35 Tesla MRI system.
The General Electric 1.5 Tesla machine is the most advanced MRI machine in the country. This new MRI machine has improved image quality enabling better clinical decision making.
